This time around it is Júníus Meyvant's turn and he's got the nation's stamp of approval having won Best Newcomer and Best Song at the Icelandic Music Award earlier this year. We can see why he comes so highly recommended as new single 'Signals' is a stunning folksy track with intricate strings and breathtaking vocal work. Gentle and almost channeling traditional styles, it is however not as stoic as you would think, with life bursting in the violins. Uplifting and enchanting, we're totally charmed by this one. - SJ
